Hello - We have a new Datamax thermal printer, with a continuous roll of label stock. I was wondering if anyone has used a printer like this and gotten EMu data out satisfactorily? Here is what I've done so far, in case any of these steps jump out as interface issues in your experience 1) in Crystal: rotated the existing labels 90 degrees, I'm satisfied with their orientation and size, as viewed in Preview mode 2) on my PC: configured the Datamax as a printer 3) in Crystal: defined the Datamax printer for the report, with new label size parameters Here are a few things that don't work 1) I get an error when I send the labels to the printer, but at least I know EMu is communicating 2) I can't view at the labels in preview mode in Crystal anymore, since I configured the labels for that printer, otherwise I'd like to see if printing from Crystal works 3) The labels in EMu don't look right anymore in terms of placement on the 'page', or their orientation I'm going to call Datamax technical support next week, but thought I'd check with you all to see if anyone has used a Datamax I-4308 with EMu and Crystal to make labels. Best regards, Joanna at FMNH |
